Three Months

Little Guy is already three months now!  Time is flying.  Now it's back to life in the real world.  Mommy has gone back to work (part time) and LG will start daycare this week.  I know it will be harder for mommy and daddy than him!

LG has changed so much in the last few weeks.  He LOVES standing up on his feet.  He is constantly throwing his head forward and kicking his feet so we will lift him up.  He also is getting more active in his play gym.  He loves to capture his ladybug and elephant with his feet and hands.  Then when he gets both of them he stares them down and wonders what he should with them.  He hasn't officially rolled over yet, but getting so close.  He rolled over in his crib while being swaddled, so swaddling days are over for him.  He picked the week mommy went back to work to try and break him of that habit :)  But like any other thing, give it a couple of nights and he is back on track.

Here are some pictures of him recently:

Here are some shots of us heading to church, one of the few times that we are all dressed up.  This is what happens when you try to take a picture and hold a baby:

Life is so hard

LG sent his mommy some flowers to brighten up her first day back:

LG,
Last week was hard for mommy.  Going back to work has made me miss you like crazy, but it has made our time together even more special.  We finally took you to church (mommy wasn't ready for someone else to take care of you) you did good for your teacher and mommy and daddy enjoyed being back!  The series was on parenting, awesome how God works.  I pray that we can be the best parents for you and even when we are not, we learn from our imperfections.  We love you more and more everyday!

Mommy and Daddy

A Firecracker Weekend

We spent the weekend celebrating Independence and Birthdays!  We started off celebrating Daddy's Birthday with presents and cake balls on Friday.  LG managed to sleep through it all.  He had to get his rest so he could have his first overnight with Gram and Grandad!  According to Gram, he stayed on his best behavior.  We met them at Heber Springs on Saturday to celebrate John (our nephew) and Daddy's Birthday.  We found out early that morning that we will have another birthday to celebrate around July 4th.  Our sweet niece decided to join this world 10 weeks early(and on her Uncle's Birthday) .   Praise God she is healthy and Mommy and Daddy are doing great!  We will be a busy family celebrating birthdays around the Fourth of July!

It melts my heart to see how much LG's cousins love him.  They are always wanting to hold him, play with him, and feed him.  LG you are one lucky dude to have so many cousins who love you and take care of you.  I know that you and your new cousin, Ryleigh, will have just as much fun together!

We ended the weekend going to Dede and Papa's house.  LG got to meet his Great-Grandfather for the first time.  LG has the privilege of having two Great-Grandparents that are still here on this earth.  We feel very blessed that LG can be spoiled by them.

Our WaterBug

We have had a couple of chances to take Little Guy to a pool and he loves it!  We bought him a Nemo float and he has even taken a nap in it.  After he has had enough "swim time", he likes to nap by the pool with his arms stretched out.  He takes the best naps outside.  I have a feeling he is going to be a little waterbug.

Baby Jesus

Little Guy had the opportunity to participate as Baby Jesus at The Witness, in Hot Springs. His Dede performs there most weekends and was ecstatic to have him join her.  LG did an awesome job!  His favorite thing is for people to sing to him, so he was all ears when Mary serenaded him.  The Witness puts on a great production and we are so honored they allowed our son to participate.  The pictures aren't the best because my camera didn't do well with the lighting but nonetheless we have pictures to prove.

LG,
You did such a great job playing Baby Jesus!  We were so proud of you.  I was a little nervous that you would have a meltdown on stage but you did great!  They even wanted you to come back every week.  We love you so much and can't wait to have many more memorable experiences with you!

Love,
Mommy and Daddy
