7 Months

Our little guy is seven months now!  I hate to sound like a broken record but Time.Is.Flying!  He is still Mr. Busy Body, giving the Energizer Bunny a run for his money.  We went to get his second flu shot and did a weight check and he gained 1 lb in a month!

Things He is up to:
  -Crawling 100% and getting into everything he shouldn't
  - Pulling up on things (I found him standing in his crib, good thing
                                             we lowered it already!)
  - saying more consonants: mainly dada and baba, no mama yet :(
  -belly laughing but is stingy with it
  - going from crawling to sitting position and vice versa

It's a Boy!

Did I get your attention?  It caught ours one year ago today!  I can remember walking to the radiology department, so nervous.  Was our baby healthy, were all the organs functioning the way they should, would we have a boy to be the protector/leader of his sibling(s), or a girl to be a mother-hen/teacher of her sibling(s).  A million thoughts were running through my head but as soon as the technician announced "It's a boy" we were elated and so relieved to know HE was healthy. 
We got to share the news on Thanksgiving Day, by my grandmother cutting into a cake to see if pink/blue was hidden inside.  It was a special day for us and so much to be Thankful for!

Belly Laugh

This week, Little Guy gave us one of the best sounds ever for a parent....a belly laugh.  Whenever I replay it to LG, he immediately puts a smile on his face.  Wonder if he realizes it's him?  Hope it makes your day a little brighter, like it does mine.  Sorry it was a little shaky, it was a one-man production crew.

Halloween

We kept it simple this year for Halloween and stayed home to pass out candy to the kiddos.  LG loved seeing all of them dressed up.  We also decided to make his outfit, I love the idea of getting creative!  He loves tummy time and we always said he looked like a turtle on his tummy, so why not make him one for Halloween.  We took a bike helmet and painted it like a shell and found a green jumper for him and Ta-Da....Our little turtle:

Six Months

Ok I know, LG has been six months for almost a month now but better late than never :)
Here are his stats and things he is up to now.

                                Weight:                           16lb 5 oz            28%

                                Head Circumference:    17in                    33%

 He dropped a little in weight but the doctor didn't seem too concerned about it and thinks maybe it's to do with his horrible month of being sick and teething.  We go back to get his second flu shot and they will do a weight check then.  I swear it's because the kid doesn't stop moving when he is awake so those calories don't have time to turn into fat :).  The other night he was constantly crawling in a circle and never stopping for at least 5 minutes just to stay awake.

Things he is up to:
    - army crawling
    - sitting up (still will fall down some)
    - eating solids (He has loved almost everything he has tried)
   -Has 2 teeth now
   -Loves waving his hand around but not really "waving" at people yet
