10 Months

Things Little Guy loves:
  • Crossing his legs.  He does this ANYtime he is sitting
  • Obsessed with sticking his tongue out
  • 100% Daddy's boy
  • Know what DaDa means
  • Momma's hair
  • Chicken strips

Here are Little Guy's 10 month pictures.  It was a little challenging that day but we checked it off our list nonetheless:

Had to bribe him with toys just to get him to sit still

"It is not naptime, momma"

So the pictures make it seem like I'm lying about him crossing his legs all the time but he tried and couldn't keep his balance while sitting in the chair :)

Walking

We finally were able to record our Little Guy walking, he keeps getting better at it!  LG still prefers to crawl if he has to go a long distance but it won't be long and his crawling days are over.

I promise LG has more PJ's.  It seems we only record him doing things when he is in these.  Daddy said they must be his athletic uniform, ready to perform when he is in them.

Christmas Family Photoshoot

Little Guy met his cousin for the first time over the Christmas holiday.  We had to take advantage of this opportunity and have some pictures taken.  Tilly's Touch Photography took them for us and did a great job.  Here are some of my favorites:

Clapping

Here is a video of LG clapping.  He was at home sick that day but still managed to keep daddy entertained with it.

9 Months

Our Little Guy is over 9 months now.  He is still keeping us on our toes and each month keeps getting more exciting.

Here are some things he is up to:
  • Eating more solid foods but only if they are cut into strips.  LG doesn't like to pick up small mushy things.  He has been picky on textures but we are slowly learning things that he will eat: omelet (not scrambled eggs because he would rather take big bites from the omelet), chicken strips (not chuncks of chicken), potato wedges, strips of avacado, mini pancakes, bananas, pears (you guessed it, cut into strips), pickles, cooked carrot sticks.  You get the gist.  He is one unique kid.
  • Starting to take steps on his own.  Not fully walking alone, but close.
  • Clapping- we thought we had taught him by only doing it a few times.  After bragging about it to the daycare workers, they told me they clap all the time.  Bubble.burster.
  • Getting better at waving bye-bye
  • He has 8 teeth now.  He got 4 in a matter of a couple of weeks.  That was fun for all of us!

We don't sit still by puppy anymore.  We just drag him along with us.

Loves bathtime!

Christmas 2011

Little Guy had a great first Christmas!  He brought more life back into Christmas for us.  He got extremely spoiled by everyone, well except from Santa.  LG must have not been on his best behavior this year because Santa brought him a security system: a video monitor and baby gates.  He was a good kid just Santa knew mommy and daddy needed some extra help keeping him safe :)

We started off the holiday at Gram and Grandad's house.  We had a blast playing with all the cousins and got really good at ripping the presents open.

8 Months

So Little Guy has been 8 months for a little bit now and to be honest his pictures were taken 2 weeks late.  The holidays slowed me down a little on blogging.  He is still stealing our hearts and making us laugh everyday with something new.

Things he is up to:
  • Walking while holding onto things and getting braver about letting go but doesn't stay up for too long
  • Started sticking his tongue out and making clicking noises with it
  • Cut his fourth tooth (He has both his lateral incisors now, but no 2 front teeth, unique huh)
  • Wears size 3 diapers
  • Moving into the bigger infant room at daycare :(

Our once again entertaining photo shoot:

So we got a little spoiled over the holidays and when we got home LG suddenly HATED his bed!  It is something we are still managing especially during naptime.  So when I put him in his crib to take our ritual pictures with the puppy dog, he had a slight meltdown.  Kinda funny and cute, huh?
