The First Few

  The first few weeks at home with our Little Guy (LG) were very eventful: for the world and for us!  LG lived through historic tornadoes that demolished cities, historic flooding that shut down an interstate, a Royal wedding that momma didn't care for but LG wanted to watch at 4am, the death of Osama Bin Laden, and a ton of dirty diapers and sleepless nights. 

His first appointment went great!  The doctor said he was a healthy boy.  LG even managed to gain all of his birth weight back in a week, which usually takes 2 weeks.  The boy likes to eat!  Here are his stats from 1 week old:

  Your mommy and daddy love you so much!  We have prayed for you for a long time now.  For your health, salvation, love for Christ, and discipleship for him.  You have so many people who love and care for you.  You bring so much joy to us and we are so proud of you.  May you always learn to lean on God and always see him through us.  We are so honored to be your parents!
