Our sweet chocolate lab; Hershe (aka Good Girl) started to have chronic renal failure and we had to make the choice to put her down the end of April. We battled the decision for a couple of weeks since she wasn't in pain but God gave us the peace to know it was right because she had started to quit eating. She was a great, tender hearted dog that would lick you as long as you would let her. She was your daddy's best friend for over 10 years and had been the best companion through some hard and good times for him.
You weren't sure about her. She really fascinated you but you didn't want her too close. Hershe loved you. When you were an infant and would cry, she hated it and wanted us to fix it quickly. She loved your daddy even more and he was her best buddy, her master. We will miss her because she really was a Good Girl!
